Sino-Canada School

Student Clubs

Sino-Canada has designated club time Monday to Thursday from 4:30 to 5:30pm. On any given day, students have the opportunity to partake in a range of academic, athletic, or artistic clubs.

Students are encouraged to participate in as many clubs as possible to broaden their horizons, meet new people, and find their passions.

Student participation in clubs not only helps them become well-rounded individuals but also teaches time management.

The breadth of clubs at Sino-Canada ensures that there is something for everyone.

Since we are a boarding school and the students are here from Monday-Friday our club activities have evolved over the years into more than just ‘club time’ activities.

Many of our athletic clubs are members of the BCOS (BC Offshore School) League and also the SYAC (Suzhou Youth Athletics Conference), which gives our teams the opportunity to compete against other schools.

Our Model United Nations club, in addition to hosting meetings and competitions, travels to Qingdao every year to compete internationally.

Students in the Outdoor Club are taken on excursions such as rock-climbing, camping, snowboarding/skiing, and ice skating, to name a few.

Our musicians are showcased twice a year at our Acoustic Café, and the talent of our actors is enjoyed through many performing events, but especially every June for our school musical.
